Today I have heard the news that my favorite fast bowler Shri Sant is found infected with H1V1 Swine Flu virus. I am so sad. How he gets infected? He should be careful about his diet and environment. Anyhow, my best wishes are with him. I read that he is being treated in Moohali and conditions are satisfactory so far.

Swine flu is a very dangerous type of flu that spreads by one person to another by the coughing, sneezing, touching or kissing of infected person. It also spreads by touching the nose and mouth with dirty hands because its germs can be found in dusty air. First time swine flu was discovered in pigs in 1918. It was very similar to the human influenza but with the passage of time it became more and more painful and dangerous disease. In 1930, a virus discovered by scientists was considered the causes of swine flu. Then it was also found in different type of birds. But later on, it became a killing disease for human beings.

1997 to 2000, some other virus has been discovered that are known as swine and avian. These viruses are very dangerous and considered as the main cause of this diseases in North America. In 1998 the virus of swine flu also was found in pigs in some areas of United States. According to scientists, cause of this virus was human and bird flu.

I hope he will be recovered soon and all will be well with him and other Indian cricketers.
